Dr Goh Yau Hong is a Consultant ENT Surgeon in Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Singapore. He was previously the Visiting Assistant Professor in Stanford University Medical Centre, USA. He served in the Department of Otolaryngology, Singapore General Hospital between and 1993 to 2004. Dr Goh is known for his work in the field of Sleep Apnea Surgery. He pioneered the jaw advancement surgery and the Pillar Implant procedure for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in SE Asia.

Dr Goh has won numerous awards during his service in the Singapore General Hospital - these include several Service Quality Awards, the CEO Service Award for Outstanding Medical Service (2002), The Best Teacher Award (2002) for Undergraduate teaching and a Gold Medal for Best in Publication (2003). In 2003 Dr Goh also received the ‘The Enterprise Challenge’ Award from the Prime Minister’s Office for his work on the Early Detection Device for Nasopharyngeal Cancer. Dr Goh has published extensively in top peer review journals in the world and has lectured worldwide.
